The W Girls Mission

The W Girls mission is to provide New York’s underprivileged women and children, as well as those around the world in times of
crisis, the support and resources necessary to achieve health, happiness, and the ability to lead productive and successful lives.

Founded by a group of young NYC professional women, The W Girls is a New York-based nonprofit organization serving disadvantaged children
and their families throughout New York City.  The
W Girls believe that all children, regardless of race, religion or financial situation, deserve the
same opportunities our members were afforded throughout childhood. These opportunities include quality education, strong, positive parental
influence, and a safe and loving home. We also believe that to create these opportunities parents, especially single mothers, must have access to
the essential tools of education, child and healthcare so that they may attain self sufficiency, and set a positive example for their children.

By partnering to raise funds with other nonprofit organizations whose goals align closely with our own, the
W Girls are able to affect reverberating
positive change in the lives of countless underprivileged women and children.

We partner with organizations who share our determination to meet the following goals.

  • Provide quality education to all underprivileged women and children of New York City and the surrounding areas
  • Provide a safe and welcoming daycare and after school environment for the children of disadvantaged working mothersEncourage all
underprivileged women to rise above their circumstances in pursuit of education, financial independence, and self sufficiency so that they
may set positive examples for their children
  • Provide quality health care to women and their children
  • Afford underprivileged children and their families amenities such as new clothing, toiletries, school supplies and gifts during the holidays so
that they may experience a sense of pride and normalcy in their everyday lives
